This beautiful golden Buddha statue made of brass represents the Medicine Buddha, also called "Bhaisajyaguru" in Sanskrit. The Medicine Buddha comes from Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan medicine. He is recognizable by the pot of medicinal plants in his left hand and the myrobalan branch with three fruits in his right hand.

The Medicine Buddha is invoked for the healing of all diseases. It is said to strengthen the mind and dissolve poisoned thoughts and the disease of ignorance. The 18 cm high Buddha statue is well suited for the Buddhist altar at home, or as a gift for a person in need of healing.
