The dancing Tara statue is beautifully made with many fine details. The 13 cm tall figure represents the green Tara. Wrapped in elegant robes and jewellery, she raises her right hand as a gesture of protection and her left hand as a gesture of wish.
The green Tara embodies the female aspect of Tibetan Buddhism. She is called upon as a saviour in need and is supposed to protect believers from danger and fulfil their wishes. Reciting her mantra "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha" helps to heal fears. The dancing Tara statue is a beautiful gift and looks good on the Buddhist altar.
